Catherine D. Cundy, M.A.

Catherine D. Cundy, M.A. is a Marriage and Family Therapist Intern under the supervision of Patricia L. Bay, Psy. D. MFT. She has experience working with depression, anxiety, pain management, grief, and trauma and enjoys working with couples, women in transition, adolescents and young adults. Before working with Dr. Bay she worked in a non-profit agency serving a diverse population. Cahterine has come to believe that the core to effective therapy is a strong and trusting relationship between therapist and client. Within this working relationship the client can explore deeper issues and learn new ways of coping, living more abundantly and peacefully.

Catherine has lived in Northern California for her entire life and has made Redding her home for the past 16 years. She is married and has two active children. Catherine received her Bachelors degree in Psychology from CSU, Chico and her Masters of Arts in Counseling Psychology from National University. She also has many years of business and management experience. Many Redding women and local dancers will remember "Caty" from her years as owner of Wild Iris Custom Swimwear and Activewear, a business that designed and manufactured custom made swimwear and dancewear.

Ryan A. Frost, M.A.

Ryan A. Frost, M.A. is a Marriage and Family Therapist Intern under the supervision of Patricia L. Bay, Psy. D. MFT. Ryan has worked with individuals, couples, families, and "at risk" children. He also has experience with the treatment of trauma. Ryan began working as a therapist with New Directions to Hope, a former non-profit clinic in Redding. He gained experience working in a variety of areas, including with victims of trauma, Parent/Child Interactive Therapy (PCIT), Pivotal Response Training (PRT). He enjoys working with men's empowerment and anger management issues. Ryan has also worked with the intellectually and developmentally delayed populations in our community, including high risk offenders.

Ryan has lived in the Redding area the majority of his adult life, working with the public and raising his family. He is the father of two and enjoys spending time in the community. Ryan graduated with honors from Simpson University with a BA in Psychology. He received his Masters of Arts in Counseling Psychology from National University. He was a probation officer with Tehama County while earning his degrees and before that he worked as a counselor at the Tehama County Juvenile Hall.

Ryan is a member of the Redding Regional Chapter of Marriage and Family Therapists.
